Youth Cultural Arts Camp: July 28th- August 1st
Give your kids a fun and fulfilling week with immersion in an engaging and dynamic morning cultural arts camp! This camp will be targeted to ages 7-12 and will explore drum, dance, storytelling and more. Each day will include a variety of themes and music and movement classes taught by Angela Carroll and Fara Tolno, as well as arts, crafts, and games. Drums and any other instruments will be provided for use. Attending youth will have the opportunity to perform at Arts Fair on Saturday August 2nd. Register HERE

Register now to study in a 4-day drum intensive with world renown artist and musical choreographer Fara Tolno. This is an outstanding musical opportunity!! Fara was the lead drummer of Merveilles de Guinee and will offer an in-depth study of traditional drumming and rhythms of Guinea, West Africa. All abilities welcome. Limited drums will be available to borrow for class. Classes will culminate with the option to perform at an event at the Depot on Friday August 15th. Fara is a highly sought after teacher and drummer. Spots are limited! Register HERE

Fara will teach a 4 class course, providing an in-depth study of Guinea dance, building upon the dance study and placing a choreography piece. CARBONDALE
Monday August 4th at the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork (16543 Highway 82
Carbondale, CO 81623). Drum class from 5:30-6:45 followed by dance class from 7-8:15. All abilities welcome and limited instruments will be available to borrow. Dance class will be accompanied by live drummers, wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. $25 per class or both classes for $40. Cash, check or Venmo at the door. Come enjoy the incredible movements and music of Guinea with a fun, dynamic and accessible teacher!
SALIDA
Drum and Dance Classes happening on August 7th at Alpine Park. Come enjoy classes in a beautiful outdoor setting with fun, friendly instruction. Rain location will be Sventastik Studio in Salida. Drum class from 2-3:15 and Dun Dun Dance class 3:30-4:45. Limited instruments will be available to borrow and all are welcome! $25 per class or both classes for $40. Cash, check or Venmo at the time of class. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Fara will be a guest artists featured at free concert in Riverside Park with Santa Rios at 6:30pm. Come enjoy some great music and dance!
LOVELAND
A three day drum intensive and dance workshop with Fara Tolno on August 8th-10th. Friday night drum and dance classes, Saturday will feature two 2-hour drum studies and two 2-hour dance intensives with an evening meal and dialogue covering the history, culture and background of Guinea rhythms with a Q&A with Fara. Sunday will culminate in a dual 2-hour class for dancers and drummers, giving drummers an opportunity to learn further techniques for playing for dance classes. Register HERE
